September - Mina's 23rd and Jason's 51st Birthdays

First week of September I had Spirit Week at School. I dressed up with a tropical theme on Monday, Tacky on Tuesday, Hero - Tanjiro on Wednesday, Thursday didn't know what to dress up as since it was 30yr old day? And my school shirt on Friday.

September 2nd Jay and I went to Pineview by ourselves again, I was feeling guilty leaving my babies lol. But it's our time alone together, we love being at the lake and sunning.  Enjoying the hot weather, it's not going to last. We walked along the beach again and enjoyed each other's company.

Saturday 3rd we had a show at 'Polynesian Days' at 'Electric Park' near Thanks Giving Point.  We were performing with Hiona, and there was no guitarist. I was nervous about not having a guitarist. But I went anyways cause I told them the girls and I would perform. Tausala was not performing at all, only a couple of our girls were in the Tahitian Contest.  For Hiona we had a good turn out of people come and perform, we played a recording of our guitar songs over the speakers. We did awesome, we sounded loud hopefully in tune lol and we were very entertaining. Afterwards I got my baby girls an Otai $12 each, WOW expensive but they deserved it. We walked around and looked at the booths, saw Haven and Taylor Barlow and Monty Schaap with Twins.

5th was Labor Day, slept in and did nothing. In the afternoon went to China Town with Jay and baby girls. We ate Korean corn dogs and fish pastry. Went and got some treats for Mina's Birthday, from the grocery place. We then shared an shaved ice dessert that was huge, but could've been tastier if the put more flavor on it. Las Vegas one was way better and yummier. We ate at a Japanese/Korean place called Hwa for Mina's Bday. Tane's mum came, Moana. We love the Japchae and bulgogi there. I made some canned relish NZ style from the tomatoes, zucchini and squash from the garden. It turned out yummy! Leila got her drivers license finally. She put it off for ages but we forced her so she can drive herself to school.

For our Anniversary we went and ate at Paradise Buffet, got totally stuffed and felt guilty afterwards lol We sat in our hot tub and watched KDramas and had a nice evening.  Thursday September 22nd I came home early from work and Jay and I drove to Wendover, we got some food from Smith's and Burger King. Food was meh I bought spicy chicken from Smiths but it turned out to be just original non-spicy chicken. We stayed the night at 'Rainbow', there was a hot tub in our room and I added some oil from a very small sample bottle from Avon into it and it was so oily Jay and I couldn't sit up in the tub cause it was slippery lol But our skin was silky smooth like a baby hehe.

29th was Jays 51st Birthday, he chose to eat out at Sagato's Bakery, just me and him.  He ordered Fish N Chips, and I got him a pie as well. I got a steak and cheese pie and a sausage roll. I also bought him a fruit tart, which we ate and a chocolate and strawberry lamington for his birthday cake. We took our baby girls to play bowling at All Star Bowling.  I sat it out cause I was recovering from a migraine and I have a sore shoulder muscle from exercising. Jason won both games of bowling. Came home and sang to Dad and he opened his one gift lol which was an old gaming console with old games on it, but it didn't work, so I had to return it. I didn't have work the next day, so we had a nice time in the hot tub. Friday afternoon we, including the newlyweds, and Kesiah (Jaxon's girlfriend) went to celebrate Dads birthday at Leatherby's. Jay and I shared Fish N Chips again and then a Biscoff dessert, it was yummy.
