Hi Sister Wihongi,
This past week we didn’t have much going on. Friday I did temple baptisms with Erana at the Jordan River temple. It was nice. There are so many young volunteers now in the temple which is awesome to see. You are part of a great youth battalion in the army of the Lord on the front lines in the battle for souls. We also ate dinner at You & I, which is a Vietnamese place. We wanted to compare it with Rollz, the other Vietnamese place we eat at. The rolls at Rollz are better. The pho was about the same. The sandwich was a bit better at You & I. I did yard work Saturday to get the garden ready. I’m going to grow potatoes this time to see how it goes and also some Honeydew melons. I also need to fix the swamp cooler but it’s broken right now and we’re looking to get a new one. Jaxon also broke the downstairs toilet so we have to get that replaced. Mum and Erana went to Tyrell and Alisa’s ward activity where they do outside games and have food. Saturday night I went and played DnD at Mina’s place. It was fun. Keep working and studying the language hard. You’re doing awesome. Love you heaps, Dad and mum.

Talofa Sis.Wihongi,
Got about a month to go for work and then it’s Summer break. We finish school on June 5th. Erana finishes a week before I do. Weather is nice, a little rainy, but it’s warmer. I’m excited for the Summer and my break. Been subbing and working at the front desk a little. I have ISS kids in my room, they are usually the same kids over and over again. Erana and I went to Louisa’s Sprinkle (baby shower) Only her family and our family women showed up, she sent the invite out 2 days before. Her church friends hosted, they had made yummy pasta, salad, sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls. We played some fun games, we didn’t win any. Louisa is having a girl, she’s due the end of June. Thursday baby and I went to Kapahaka and then I dropped baby off at Tausala. We have Living Traditions this Saturday 17th, and we’re not ready - scary! Oh well just as long as Erana and I know it, which we kinda do lol. Friday Dad and I went and did Temple sealings at the Taylorsville Temple. We ate at KFC by the Home Depot because I had a bucket of chicken coupon and Dad needed to get plants from the Home Depot. Saturday we had chore day. Dad did some yard work. In the afternoon we went to Walmart, and then to Costco which was a madhouse, will never go there again on a Saturday. We got some Pizza’s at PapaMurphys for Mothers Day. Erana had her friend over, Lydia, they were in the basement watching Cory Kenshin on YouTube lol. I made some curry, rice and noodles. Jaxon surprised me with an early Mother’s Day gift, Cookies (my favorite were the Dubai Cookies), some lavender lotion and smellies, and a lavender candle. You called Saturday afternoon for Mother’s day, and I also called my Mum and wished her Happy Mothers Day. On Sunday Baby made me breakfast in bed, curry and a cookie and milk (just what I wanted lol). At church I thought we were combined with Relief Society again for classes but found out during class we weren’t. So our younger class sat in with the older class. Sis Chaus had made the Young Women yummy cinnamon rolls, oh and all the women 18 and older were allowed to pick a pie. I chose the chocolate eclair pie. Mina cooked up the pizzas at home and made her salad. Tyrell and Alisa had made me cream puffs. We watched ‘Glory’ an old movie about the civil war, Dad chose it of course. Keep up the GOOD WORK, Love you! Mum and Dad xxx

Hello Sister Wihongi,
I finished another semester of school. We got together at Minas house for another DnD night. For mothers day we made cream puffs for our moms. We hung out with Dodge and Kayla and played pickleball and watched Twilight. This week is our anniversary, 3 years. That's all I can remember that we did lol. Hope you're still doing well and loving the mission, you are doing an awesome job! Love Alisa and Tyrell.
Hi Sister Wihongi,
I won't lie, this week was the worst this whole year. On Thursday, I called off work and took photos for a Wolfgramm wedding. I did their temple photos at Draper temple and then their reception in a nice venue in Provo. It was pretty intimate for a polynesian wedding (the wife is palagi though), I thought it was the perfect amount of people. It went pretty well and I came home and went to sleep. The next morning I was soooo sore which was weird because I hardly moved around. So I called off work again to rest. I also had a doctors appointment that day anyways to have an 8 week ultrasound. We received heart-breaking news that I'll be having a miscarriage because the baby never developed inside me. I just have a big empty sac in me. I cried all day and still cry here and there because all the appointments I had previously showed positive signs and then all of a sudden our hopes were crushed. This pregnancy has been really draining from the start. Extreme fatigue, body aches, hunger pains when I'm not even that hungry, sore breasts, tiredness x1000, and little queasiness but what kept me going and stayed excited was knowing that we'll have a baby eventually. And Tane and I have started to make plans for the future. But I guess now is not the time. I was really sensitive on Sunday because it was Mother's Day and I was sad that I wasn't technically a mother yet even though I'm pregnant. Now I just have to wait until my body miscarries the gestational sac. I'm so drained, I think I'll take a break from photography. I still have a lot this month however. I just have to keep pushing through and have faith. I'm sorry you have to hear about this terrible news through email, we were so excited to tell you on that video call last week. But it's okay, we're okay. I just picture grandma and grandpa telling our babies in Heaven to just wait a little longer before they send our babies down to us, and that makes me feel a little better.
Love you heaps sis,
Mina & Tane

Hi Sister Wihongi,
Last week we got a replacement washer and dryer. The old washer broke on us. The old dryer would sometimes leave little stains on white clothes. They were just sitting in Josh's garage so he gave them to us. Tyrell got one Thursday and we got one Friday. Mina took us out to dinner Friday when we came to get it. We ate at Viet Deli and had pho and lo mein and a sandwich. Afterwards, we walked to a Thai place close by and had mango sticky rice. Also Tane and I gave Mina a blessing before we went out. Saturday I spent the day removing and installing the washer and dryers. Mum and Erana performed at Living traditions. They said it was a good show. Erana led the song E minaka Ana. Sunday evening we watched an anime ‘Batman ninja vs Yakuza league’ that Jaxon chose. It was ok. Keep working hard and having faith to come out of your comfort zone. I know the Lord will help you with the work and help you become who you are meant to be.
Love Dad and mum
