September 2024 - Mina's 25th and Jason's 53rd Birthdays

Monday 2nd Labor Day - The girls stayed the night before at Mina & Tanes. They went to Serina's Baby Shower together. Dad and I went to Pineview, and spent the day alone together. Relaxing, enjoying the water and view and atmosphere of the Lake. I love sunning and relaxing by the water, makes me happy.

Monday 9th - President Russel M. Nelson 100th Birthday.

Sunday 15th - Had dinner at Scotts home with Jareds, family, celebrating his 52nd Birthday. Scott made hamburgers. I brought a couple of steaks and made potatoe salad, greek salad and cut up Tane's watermelon. Mina didn't come she had a photo shoot. Tyrisa brought yummy cream puffs.

Tuesday 17th - Was Jays and I 30th Anniversary!! But we didn't have much planned, we just went out to eat at 'Paradise Buffet' with our baby girls. And while we were there Leila received her missionary letter..... so we gave her some options to wait till the weekend or open it up asap. She was excited and decided to open it up at 7pm tonight. We let family and friends know on Instagram and Facebook etc. Paradise Buffet did not serve Hot Cocoa anymore, sad! It was my favorite. And their food was okay. King Buffet is better now. Scott, Heather, Talia, Tyrell, Alisa, Tane and Mina came and watched Leila read her electronic Mission Call. We went live on Instagram and Facebook. Before that on our Wihongi Siblings chat, Moni had put down 'Tonga' and I said to Jay I'm gonna go with 'Samoa' but then I read Jody's choice which was 'Singapore' and I changed mine to 'Malaysia'. When Leila read it and said  ~ Samoa! I was like 'I said Samoa!!!' soooo loud shame. Leila got emotional and was crying, Erana said Leila had told her that she had a feeling she was going to Samoa! So the Holy Ghost already told Leila where she was going. We were excited her Tausala family were thrilled, all of the Schwenke's were watching. We are excited for her to serve the lord I know he'll and Mum will be watching over her.

Sunday 22 - I made steak crockpot curry and Chicken Javanese curry, Dads favorite. Talia and Melia asked me to make them Curry last Sunday. Both curries were delicious. We had rice and roti bread with it.

Thursday  26th - Jay and I had planned to stay at the Anniversary Inn, in Logan. I left just after first lunch and packed some stuff. Jay and I went to eat at King Buffet, since I love Chinese food, and this is the cheapest way to eat a lot of different kinds of Chinese food. I didn't over eat though. I drove to Logan, on our way I stopped at the Bee store, we got some honey for us and for Mina to take to Japan. Southern Comfort was our room we stayed in. It had a pole for pole dancing lol, a dart board and a game table that kind of was a game like shuffle board. Jay kept winning at everything, except for the pole dancing!!! lol We had a nice stay and I even got to watch my Cdramas in the hot tub. Our breakfast was a bit scabby cause the forgot to bring us our Parfait's, but luckily we ordered an extra entre that costs $3 each. But Jays cinnamon roll was more like a cinnamon hole, so small.                                  After we checked out I decided to check out some Thrift stores, so kind of Jay to let me do this! The first store was King Vintage it wasn't thrifty at all, but I did buy $150 worth of clothes, a vintage coat, dresses and shirt. Later I was thinking I probably could do without the shirt. Indie Clover was another thrift store where different people had their own booths to sell stuff. I bought a dress, and jersey. The next store I can't remember what it was called I got a free white skirt for Leila.                                           We Stopped at the Bee store again and got a couple more  things and Honey for Tyrell to take to Japan.

Sunday September 29th - My JayBean turned '53' years old. But still looking like he's in his twenties. I married the most handsomest man ever, never aging! He has passed me in his good looks, barely lol. Mina took our family photos across the street at the cemetary. Minas idea for us to all dress in black, so we looked the part while at the cemetary haaha. My JayBean requested that I make his favorite dinner, so I  made 'Chuck roast' in the black pot with mushrooms, butternut squash, zucchini, cabbage, carrots and onions. Mina bought 'Hawaiian rolls' and I had made a coconut bundt cake, with coconut raffaello's for decoration. Scott and Heather came over for cake and ice-cream.
