Hi Son,
We came home from Las Vegas today, went to Vegas last thursday for Jaxons rugby tournament. He played friday and saturday, their team the rhino’s came 4th place out of 20 teams. Mina stayed home because she was too busy with her sbo stuff etc. Dad would go with Jaxon early in the morning to his rugby games, and the girls and I slept in and went to the Pool. We stayed at Tahiti village because they have a beach themed pool and a lazy river, weather wasn’t hot though, it was in the 60’s and windy, but we went anyway. We surprised the kids with the Tournament of the Kings dinner, that was fun. We watched the Oscars with the family tonight for the first time in a long time now we know why we don’t watch it, it was boring and they always have gay/lesbian and feminism stuff going on lol. We watched it because ‘Keala Settle’ was singing on it and we thought it would get best song, but it didn’t. Hope your transfer is going good, and the members are taking good care of you.

We went to Las Vegas for my rugby tournament from Thursday to Sunday. Friday was the beginning of the rugby tournament. We won the first two games but got beat by a team of 18 year olds which they should be disqualified for. Then after that we went to the strip and ate different rootbeer floats. Our team came 4th out of 20 teams. We would’ve came 3rd if we took the last game seriously. After all that we went back to the strip and Leila and I went on the New York New York roller coaster ride. We then looked around and went shopping. Wasn’t really a pool day because it was windy. On Sunday, we packed up and left. We noticed that it was sunny and there was no wind on the day we were leaving. That sucked, I really wanted to swim. Hope you have an interesting week.

Hey Big Bro,
This week I was home alone since thursday because the family left to Vegas. I stayed to prepare for Spirit Week. It is so so stressful and annoying. I tried getting human bubble balls for the assembly but the District Policy and Risk Management denied it. I think it’s stupid because Highland High School used them. I had to decorate the school today and it took forever. I never want to touch duct tape after high school ever again. But it looks really cool! Tomorrow is spirit week. I’ll tell you more about it next week.

Fourth place that's real awesome. I've been wanting to play rugby again real bad. The mission has definitely broke me out of my shell and has made me a lot more competitive haha. I'm still humble though. I've been thinking where I wanna go to school but I'm still undecided. The majority of the people I know are going to Utah State which is where I thought about going but I still don't know, maybe just to do my generals. It was real windy here to. We were getting 60mph winds here this week. And that's awesome do they still serve you a little chicken at the excalibur show, and did they sing the 'is it good yes yes yes' song? And that sounds real exhausting Mina, is there a spirit week theme? what are the themes? Also, Which root beer float was the best?

Hi Son,
Sunday night we’ve just finished watching the ‘Hobbit’ trilogy and the only person that got to write to you was Mina cause she had the chromebook for her homework. In answer to your questions for our last email, we did eat a whole baby chicken at excalibur, potatoes and broccoli, tomato soup and for dessert apple strudel.  Oh Dad just told me he already answered your questions. Jaxon’s been sick since thursday, upset tummy, puking, diarrhea lol I took the girls to watch Minas assembly on friday and it was a blast, so funny! I posted videos and photos on my fb if your allowed to see it - if not too bad. Chad Hurst is coming home it about 2wks he invited us to his homecoming but we probably won’t go. We got your valentines card in the mail it came back to us so I had to resend it with current address, thought we were cool sending you a valentines card but NOT! LOL  Stop using your personal debit card for eating out looks like your getting chubahlub and your bank acct is getting low, that card is only for emergency uses only. Dad says to budget your mission money and spend it wisely, you should be eating breakfast at your home and eating dinner at a members home? Buy cheap groceries. … We love you and are proud of you another year to go FARR OUT!!!

Hey Big bro!
So the theme for spirit week was Superhero and each grade had to choose their own hero group to decorate for. Seniors chose Avengers, Juniors chose Teen Titans, and Sophomores chose Justice League. We had dress up days:
Mon- Marvel vs. DC    Tues- Team Tuesday (sports)       Wed- Meme Wednesday 
Thurs- Time Travel Thursday (dress from an era or from the future)   Fri- Class Colors
I had the Assembly on Friday and it went sooo goood, it was LIT and WILD. We handed out foam fingers, leis, and sunglasses to everyone. It was awesome, and we had dance battles between each grade, games, and then a faculty dance with Coach Wells and Pala and a few teachers. We had confetti poppers throughout the gym and decorated the gym with class color balloons and streamers. and we turned off the lights at one point. I was so stressed about nothing. Our principal came up to us and said that she’s been at Tville for 4 years and this was the best assembly she’s ever attended too. And teachers came up to me and said the same thing. I wish I can show you videos, Seniors won and it was not RIGGED. Oh and Dr. Muse got a promotion and works at the Granite building now, Mrs. Lidell is our principal now. I want to show you a hilarious video from the assembly, if I send it to you on Facebook Messages, will you see it? It’s getting really warm here!

Hello Tyrell,
For Young Womans we talked about what tree we should represent and we chose the banyan tree. On Friday, in the morning we went to Mina’s assembly because it was their spirit week, it was crazy! Afterwards, mom, Erana, and I went to Burger King and to Winco and Smith’s. Then, Erana and I got sick, we watched the Greatest Showman with dad and he asked so many questions that he got the answer to in the movie BEFORE he asked them, which meant he wasn’t paying attention. He also asked questions that he needed to just WATCH the movie to get the answer. Yesterday, Erana and I played at Kage’s house and then Dray played over at our house. Kage didn’t play over because he had to go to Talia’s friend’s quinceanera, he had to go because she’s also Aunty Heather’s student. Today, we finished the Hobbit series. This weeks not much. Saturday was St. Patrick's Day and I had rugby practice out in the snow and rain and it was freakin cold. I couldn’t feel or move my hands and feet. I also got pinched a lot because I wasn’t wearing green. Mom got sick. She has a really sore stomach. We had our St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Sunday and it was delicious. We had corn beef:). Dad took Mom to InstaCare to check on her. That's everything interesting this week, how was your St. Patrick’s Day?

Tuesday was a very busy day. First, Mina and I went to the orthodontist. Then, Erana and I had our piano practice. Next, we played at our friend’s house. Last, Erana and I had our piano recital, it went great! On Wednesday, for young Womens we watched a movie called Love, Kennedy, it was a great movie! It’s probably one of my favorite movies. The next day, Erana and I had our Tausala practice. Friday, I made some cool bracelets. Then, mom, Erana, and I went to the stores. When we got back, Erana and I had our gymnastics lessons from Shauna. Yesterday, Kage and Dray played over, then Erana and I played over. Mom has something swollen in her tummy. Like a tube or something. She is sick but is getting medicine for it and hopefully she’ll get better. I have a meeting with the bishop next sunday for my mission papers! Haha, and to tell you a secret, Camden WAS my boyfriend since Valentine’s Day but I broke up with him because the holy ghost was telling me that being in a relationship right now isn’t the best. Hi Son,

We got back from the Hospital emergency room at 12:30am Monday morning. We were there at 7pm Sunday. Mum has a swollen fallopian tube and needs to see a gynecologist so we will get that taken care of. She needs to also take some exlax and get rid of a lot of tutae to take pressure off that area. She was in a lot of pain all night last night. The last week started off with warm weather in the 60’s then ended up back in the 30’s again by the weekend. We thought spring had arrived but we were wrong. Erana and Leila did a good job at the piano recital last Tuesday. Not much else going on. Hope all is well.

The beginning of the week, I went on a little bike ride and stopped to read my book and have a little snack. On Tuesday, Erana and I played at our friend’s house and we gave her the The Friend magazine that was for March. Wednesday, Erana and I went on a bike ride and we stopped at the Great Harvest bread store to take a break and read our books and have a little snack. The next day, Erana and I had our Tausala practice. The last day of the weekdays, mom, Erana, and I went to the stores. Yesterday, all the Young Women and men went to the Jordan River temple to see what was new. Afterwards, the Brookshire Young Women and men went to the Masina’s for breakfast. This week we went to the open house for the Jordan River temple. It was really beautiful. I am in charge of the talent show and I have talent show auditions to watch this week. It’s more stressful than it sounds haha. I dyed my grey green poop hair to a mahogany brown that looks like a natural brownish red that shines golden in the sun. It kind of matches my eyes except the golden part lol. I went back to a natural color so I don’t have to dye it again before my mission. We watched an LDS movie called Love Kennedy and we all cried so much watching it haha. You are always in my prayers and Hope North Carolina is treating you well.

I got 4 loose teeth but not on this day on a different day not on this day on a different day, got that Tyrell? And that means I got 4 gold coins! Can’t you believe it!? But, here’s the sad part, mom gave them away to dad, but here’s the happy part! Mom gave me 2 five dollars, isn’t that awesome! I went to church and I learned about Jesuses resurrection. And then I went back home and had yummy dinner. Then we watched this very very sad movie called Love Kennedy.

On Saturday the young men and women went to the Jordan River Temple for a tour. It was sooooo beautiful. After that we went to the Masina’s house to a have breakfast. It was delicious. We then went because I had a rugby game. I didn’t keep track of the score but we scored a lot and the other team didn’t score once. I made a try too in that game. I also saw Zion and his cousins there. I wish you a merry week of spiritual activity.

Hi Son, 

This is Mum, its late Sunday night and our family movie we watched ‘Love Kennedy’ an lds movie, we were crying it was a good family movie. I forgot to ask you if you got your late Valentine card? It came back to us like 2wks after I posted it? Lol Nothing been going on, just work and school stuff… But Dad and I are going to Vegas again by ourselves on tuesday, will be flying on standby with Delta and coming home on friday. Will be home on time for general conference and easter. I bought Jaxon his bagpipes they came last week, they cost a lot of money, he tried practicing them today and Dad was freaking out saying it was way too loud! Lol Hopefully he’ll be able to play ‘amazing grace’ all the way through by the time you get home. Anyways I think they are cool’az! Went on the Jordan River temple tour on saturday with the youth, the temple looks amazing. Then we had breakfast at the Masina’s home. Mike Boley had a stroke and he’s not doing very well. Last Sunday I had to go to the emergency room cause I had really bad tummy pains different from gas pains lol And I thought I got food poisoning from ‘taro’ that I cooked for the first time and ate that Saturday night and I couldn’t get to sleep and then the pains went into Sunday, then I decided to go to instacare and they sent us to the emergency room. And found out it wasn’t food poisoning but i have a swollen fallopian tube. But Dad thinks it from my fascia roller cause I was rolling my tummy with it….anyways they gave me morphine and the pain went away. But I still need to go see my gynecologist to get checked. Well that’s it for now, we love you and hope your doing good, take care of yourself and your companion too!

Hi Son,
We are good Eliza Morgan and Jazlyn Masina came back from their missions. Eliza didn’t even recognize Mina lol. We had yummy food yesterday at Uncle Scotts for the Super bowl, I made seafood chowder and stuffed mushrooms. Mina had her sweethearts with her sweetheart Camden Sorenson, I told her he looks like a Campbell and she didn’t like that I think lol Work is the same and Dads is a bit stressful, he needs a lot of relaxation when he comes home. We love you and hope you are doing awesome thanks for the updates.

I play for the Rhinos which is a rugby team. We practice for about 2 and a half hours. I went to the Church History Museum on Friday. It was awesome!!! I got to see what Joseph Smith looked like because they put plaster on their faces. It's called a death mask. There was another one for Joseph Smith's brother. I also saw Joseph Smith’s brother’s sunglasses. They were really fancy and weird. There were a lot of other stuff but I don't want to talk about it cause it might take too long. Hello Tyrell,
I had a fun week! On Tuesday, Erana and I went to play at my friend’s house. Wednesday, for Young Women’s, we did something called the amazing race where we split into teams and do activities fast so we can beat the other teams. My team was, like, the last team, we were combined with the Riverview ward. Then, on Thursday, mom picked Lafiana up and we went to Tausala practice, but Lafiana and I had to dance another hour because mom dropped us off too early, it was still fun though. Then we us three girls, not mom, got a 4 for 4 because Lafiana didn’t have dinner. The next day, mom, dad, Jaxon, Erana, and I went to a church museum downtown, it was fun. After that, we dropped Jaxon off at rugby practice. Then mom, Erana, and I went and ate at McDonald’s and went to Walmart. Next, mom dropped me off at Misty’s house (Misty is one of the teachers at church) so I can help with decorations for a donation, fundraiser, dance next Friday. Yesterday, the Wolferstan family came over to pick Erana and I up to go to the castle park for a little while. We had ice cream at home with them after we played at the park. We watched Toys of Fury and Toys of Fury 2 and they loved it. Today, after church, we went to Uncle Scott’s house for dinner and for the super bowl. We are just chillin after Stake conf. Waiting for dinner to be done. We went last night to the adult session, Tyrone gave a 5min talk it was about him meeting Marci and their journey to be sealed in the Temple, it was the best talk. Today Jaslyn Masina spoke she gave a good talk too, she was in the youth council with you, remember her? We’d tell you to ask her out on a date, but you weren’t being obedient to our suggestion lol!!! Going to Ariki’s 3rd Birthday today. Erana and I didn’t get to play at our friend’s house on Tuesday because she was sick and I was going to give her the January 2018 Friend because I thought she would like it. When Erana and I walked away, I felt a feeling that I should still give her the Friend and that it would make her feel better, so I turned around and gave it to her big brother so he can give it to her. I felt the spirit after that. On Wednesday, for Young Womens, we were planning out the fundraiser, auction, donation, dance and we practiced a flash mob to the This Is Me song from The Greatest Showman. Thursday, Erana and I had Tausala practice and I did great! The next day, our dance was very fun and our flash mob was a success! Yesterday, Mina, Jaxon, Erana, and I went to see the Greatest Showman movie, then later on Kage’s family and Uncle Tyrone’s family came over for dinner and dessert. Jaxon is playing for the Rhino rugby club now on the 9/10 grade team. They practice on the Taylorsville high football field. He is one of the smallest on the team. We saw Black Panther, it was pretty good. Not much going else going on. Oh Mina has a boyfriend, his name is Camden and is a Junior. Stay safe and healthy, work hard and pray hard.

On Tuesday, Erana and I went to our friends house and we gave her the February Friend and a caramel chocolate covered pretzel stick for Valentine’s Day. Then, on Valentine’s Day there was 2 presents on our school desk, one for me and one for Erana. In my bag there was a Baboon Ty Beanie Boo! It’s name is Wasabi. Erana can tell you in her letter what she got. Thursday, Erana and I went to Tausala practice. The next day, we went to see Black Panther, it was a great movie. Next, Shauna Morley came over because the week before at the dance I asked if she could teach me gymnastics, so she taught me a few tricks that I have to work on the whole week. Yesterday, the whole family except Mina went to the mall, then we tried a place called Baked Bears, they make ice cream sandwiches. They weren’t that great, I only liked the ice cream that was inside of it. Afterwards, Erana and I played at Kage and Dray’s house, then we went and got burgers and they played over at our house. Hey Big Bro, Today I went to a friend’s farewell. It’s crazy to think that my friends are now leaving on their missions. I am very proud of them and know that they’ll do amazing, but I’ll miss them sometimes. We saw Black Panther, it was good but I wouldn’t say it was the best movie yet. Hi Son,
Nothing much happening just work. Oh and I turned 43 on Monday. Dad had that day off for Presidents Day. We ate at Texas Roadhouse. Dad took me to some clothes stores to try and buy me a present but I didn’t find anything. We took the family to eat ice cream and cheese fries at Leatherbys in the evening. Then at home I opened my birthday card and gift. I got a new pot set. It's cold and snowed a lot this weekend. Danny & Raina had their baby boy ‘Brooks Spencer Wihongi’. Tama had his homecoming today but we didn't go.

This week I went downtown with my friends one night and took pictures at an abandoned graffitied parking lot, went to herriman pond and looked at the stars, then  went to eat at Texas Roadhouse (it moved right across the street where the old dollar theaters were. The old theaters got torn down.) I am kind of stressed out about Spirit Week. I’m trying to rent out the huge bubble balls for the assembly. It’s been really hard to read scriptures lately. Monday was mom’s birthday so we went to Leatherby’s. On Tuesday, Erana and I had piano practice, but we didn’t go to our friend’s house because it was too cold. Wednesday, Erana and I played at Kage’s house for a little bit then they played over until I went to YW. For YW we were going to go ice skating but they didn’t buy tickets, so we just did some fun activities and had donuts and pretzels afterwards. Next, on Friday, Erana, mom, and I went to Burger King, Walmart, and Culver’s. Yesterday, I went with mom to Target and to Raina’s baby shower. Hi Son,
Got your cards in the mail Friday, we were laughing at Jaxon's, kids loved them and Dad and I did too. We’re so happy & proud that our family prayers, scripture reading and FHE was not for nothing!
Dad wanted me to tell you that we didn't like ‘The Last Jedi - Star Wars’ movie and that was the last star wars movie he was going to go see at a movie theater!!! I've been doing a lot of overtime work due to a lot of cancellations due to snow storms. Grandma gave you $50 for Christmas that I still need to put in your bank. Well keep warm and be safe.

Not much has happened this week so this will be short. We got your letter for Christmas this week and we loved reading it. Today we had the Wolfersteins come over and have dinner with us. We also had a maori boy named Johnny and his girlfriend come over. We also went over the maori songs with them because we have to perform for them at their ward on the 17th. We had fun talking with them because they were funny. Then when all of them left the family sat for prayer but we talked for ages about Mina’s boyfriend. It was funny though. Hello Tyrell,
New Year’s was soo funny! Uncle Scott and Uncle Jared’s family came, and that was it, I thought it was going to be boring. We played pictionary, and Aunty Heather and Uncle Scott did the mirror mirror way of pictionary when a person follows the other person’s finger with the marker to make what was on the card which the finger person looks at, and Uncle Scott said it was a peni… you know what I mean. But it was really a canon, all the kids except Alessandra and Odike laughed so hard. Afterwards, we played Just Dance 2018, which I got for Christmas, and Uncle Scott, Aunty Heather, and Uncle Jared did a song Make it Jingle which we never danced at, and the dance had SOOOOOOOO MUCH twerking in it! It was SOO funny we laughed the whole way through! On Monday, Erana and I played at Kage and Dray’s house. Tuesday, Erana and I had our piano lessons and then went to my friend’s house. My friend gave me and Erana a makeover, and when we saw ourselves, Erana looked like a zombie and I looked like those woman on movies that put too much makeup on XD. Two days later, Erana and I went to Tausala practice. Friday, nothing. Saturday, played at a Kage and Dray’s house a little with Erana. Today, we had dinner with the Wolferstines and they invited very nice people with us. They were a couple, a maori and a brazilian. Maori was Tommy, and Brazilian was Kat. They were very nice and Tommy had a very nice acsent and voice when he sang for us with his guitar. Kat was nice too and I taught her some of the poi’s. We had soo many good laughs from today. New Year’s was soo funny! Uncle Scott and Uncle Jared’s family came, and that was it, I thought our New Year’s was going to be boring. We played pictionary and Uncle Scott guessed Aunty Heather’s picture as a peni…. All the kids started laughing so hard. It was really a rocket. Then we played Just Dance 2018 that I got for Christmas, and Uncle Scott, Aunty Heather, and Uncle Jared went against each other to a dance called Make It Jingle. The dance had SOO MUCH twerking in it! All of us started laughing so hard! On Monday, Erana and I played at Kage’s house. Tuesday, Erana and I had piano lessons and then played at my friend’s house. The next day, I played at Kage’s house a little with Erana. Today, we had dinner with the Wolferstan family and they invited a very nice couple with them. Their names were Johnny and Kat. Johnny was a handsome, funny, maori and he had a very nice accent and voice when he sang for us with his guitar. Kat was a beautiful, nice, brazilian and I taught her some of the poi’s. Wassup big brother,
Not that much this week so same as usual. I’m starting to act like you now because I workout late and play games late. I bought Call of Duty WW2 but I haven’t played it yet. Tama Peterson is coming back in February so that's something to look forward to. Today, Mina started singing the Pokemon theme song and she started crying because she missed the good old days lol XD. Erana and I played at my friend’s house on Tuesday. For Young Womans on Wednesday, we played games like Pie Face, Twister, and Apples to Apples, we had snacks too. On Thursday, Erana and I had Tausala and I saw someone from my school. Friday, mom, Jaxon, Erana, Kage, Dray, and I watched the new movie Jumanji 2 at AMC. Jumanji 2 was so funny, I loved it so much! The rest of the day, Kage and Dray played over. The next day, Erana and I played at Kage and Dray’s house for the rest of the day, and we watched Dray’s basketball game. Hi Son,
The weather has been quite nice this time of year. Warm, in the 40’s and 50’s and sunny. I have tomorrow off for Martin Luther King Day. Haven’t been doing too much lately. Mum and I went to Ikea yesterday to look for ideas about new shelves and stuff. Went to South Towne mall as well. I taught the Gospel Principles class today. We watched the Son of God movie for out family movie. It’s about Jesus, the same people who did the Bible series. Was pretty good. Last week we had the Wolferstan family over to eat Sunday dinner. It was a kiwi dinner. Boil up with water cress, maori bread, shepherds pie, bacon and egg pie, trifle, steam pudding and custard. Hope all is well with you. Did you get your new phone? How’s your area, is it Chapel Hill? Hope you are doing good with your transfer. We are all doing good, Kids are healthy and happy. It finally snowed a lot on the weekend. I took the 2 little girls to see the movie, “The Greatest Showman”. It’s about circus people and it’s a musical with Hugh Jackman. Keala Settle acts as the bearded lady. She is Auntie Ryan’s sister (Zion’s mum). She sings really awesome in the movie. Not much else to say, just work and usual going ons. Love you Mum and Dad xxx

I had a fun week! Martin Luther King Day, Erana and I went to the Wairhouse with Kage and Dray. Then, Erana and I went to play with my friend on Tuesday, and we played Bean Boozled. On Wednesday, we went to the Wolferstan’s house for dinner, then we went to their ward to do a performance of our maori culture. Thursday, Erana and I had Tausala practice and I went to Seven Eleven with Lafiana’s family because they dropped me off from Tausala. The next day, mom, Erana, and I went to see The Greatest Showman in the morning. Yesterday, Erana and I got picked up by Ollie and went to an indoor pool near where the Wolferstan family lives. We swam with Sofia. After that, we went to McDonald’s for a snack, then we had dinner with the Wolferstan family, of course the rest of the family came, except Mina. The twins had dinner with us too, Danny and Gabby. Kat and Tommy, which was actually Johnny XD, came over to Ollie’s house a little then left. They were also with us when we did the performance on Wednesday. Today, we watched the movie Coco and we had leftovers from yesterday. I hope you have a great week! I LOVE YOU!

Hey Big Bro!

Hey i know it’s been awhile since i wrote to ya, sorry haha. But I got accepted into the U of U, but still applying for the fall semester of BYU Hawaii. I’m planning to leave on my mission first, right at my birthday. That way I can come home in march, work until I can go to Byu Hawaii in the fall. I may be on my mission the same time you are! Haha, I don’t think mom and dad like that idea. But it’s the best choice right now. I’m going to start going to mission prep on sunday mornings. Anyways, I don’t have a first period on B days this semester, so i get to sleep in. Its awesome! We got a random heavy snow storm and now we finally have a lot of snow on the ground! I hope you stay warm.

Hi Son,

I had a bit of a stressful week at work. Mum booked us a night at a bed and breakfast just to get away and unwind Thursday night and destress. It was nice. Saturday we took Jaxon to a buffet for his birthday. We had tres leches today. He is 15 now. Eliza Morgan came home. She gave her homecoming talk today. She gave a good talk. Hope you are doing well and like your new area. Also let us know that you got your phone ok. It should have arrived on the 19th last week. Can you believe we went to New Zealand a year ago? Wow that was a fast year. And your year mark will be here soon. Time flies.

Hello Tyrell,

Erana and I played at my friend’s house on Tuesday and we did a food tasting challenge. On Wednesday, we helped set up the new beginnings for Young Womens an hour early before Young Women’s started. We had soda and popcorn and candy while watching a video I had to introduce for the two new beehive’s. Ember Rudolph and Eliza Thackery were the  two new beehive’s. I was sick the rest of the week, but I still did some things. On Thursday, Erana and I went to Tausala practice. The next day, mom, Erana and I went to get Lafiana a birthday gift for her birthday party on Saturday. Then on Saturday, Erana and I went to Lafiana’s birthday party at the chapel, it was a glow party. There was glowing face paint, and I had the best face paint face out of everyone who had face paint on. The party was four hours long! Afterwards, Erana and I played at Kage’s house, then Kage and Dray came over. Today, Kage’s family came over for dessert for Jaxon’s birthday. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!
