October - Leila's 13th Birthday

Scripture of the Month: Deuteronomy 7: 3-4

3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

Hello Tyrell,
We went to the Halloween party this Monday. I played at Jenna’s house and had dinner with them again. We had vegan tacos. For Young Womens, we talked about how we should do family research. Thursday, we performed maori culture at a college reunion. On Friday, we went to the maori party we always go to every year. Yesterday, I liked the chocolate cake talk a woman gave at the Women’s Conference. Today, I liked the talk about not procrastinating your repentance and repent as soon as possible. Mom and I sang maori songs with Hiona Showcase (Kapa Haka) at a fire side. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hi Son,
Just me emailing you today, Conference was exciting, while the prophet was leading up to the 2hr church announcement, the Allblacks were playing South Africa & it was a close game. And when the 2hr church was announced, Jaxon thought it was funny that Dad & I were ecstatic about it! LOL And then a little after that Dad disappeared and we heard him shouting for joy comes running down into basement saying the allblacks won!! I says to him gees that's a bigger reaction than the 2hr church announcement!!
And now today we get another blessing a temple in Auckland NZ!!!
Tomorrow I'm starting my 10 social media fast & to try and be more consistent in studying the BOM! Feel so blessed to belong to the church of Jesus Christ in these latter- days! We love you, we pray for you, we are proud of you!
Love Mum & Dad xxx

Hi Son,
It’s good to hear you are well and are doing a lot of good service. Enjoyed the photos. 19 months already. Time is flying by. General Conference was great. Having 2 hour church will be interesting and a nice change. Mum and I went to the Temple Friday. We are still doing some names that Grandma found on her side of the family. Mina hasn’t gone to the Temple yet. She’s still taking the prep classes. I’ve still been taking Jaxon out on driving lessons about once a week. He’s getting better. He said Carsen Fox is also learning to drive and she accidentally put the accelerator on instead of the brakes and smashed into 2 parked cars at the high school. They had the baby shower for your cousin Cynthia Wood on Saturday. She’s having her baby in 5 weeks. There’s a new bakery called Sagato bakery that opened up close by on State street by a polynesian family. It has pies, cream donuts, sausage rolls, lamingtons and custard pies like that have in New Zealand. It’s actually pretty good. They have been busy. We’ve gone a few times already. Take care, keep working hard and working smart.
Love you, Mum and Dad.

Hey Tyrell,
I went to a Tville football game this Friday and it was fun. They went against Copper Hills and we beat them, the score was 47-28. Hunter Fox plays for the team and he made a good run. He ran from one end of the football field, all the way to the other end but got tackled by the touchdown. Then my friends, Jess and Ceedrek slept over. That’s all, hope you have a safe and fun week.
Love, Jaxon XOXO

Hi Tyrell,
Cynthia is pregnant and Gracie slept over.

Hello Tyrell,
We went to Carl’s Jr. for FHE. I played and ate at Jenna’s on Tuesday again and we had spaghetti with garlic roles. Erana and I had a piano recital also. I played I Hope They Call Me On A Mission. For Young Womens on Wednesday, we learned how to make bread and we painted pumpkins. After Erana and I had Tausala practice, we ate burgers from Wendy’s for dinner. On Friday, I went to Home Depot with dad and we had Wendy’s frosties. Yesterday, Erana, mom, Aunty Heather, and I went to Cynthia’s baby shower. It was at Aunty Tania’s friend’s house who has 4 horses, 3 dogs, and 2 goats. It was so fun to play with them, mostly the goats. Gracie slept over and she went to church with us and ate dinner with us. We watched Nacho Libre and Jumanji. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hi Son,
It was fall break this week but we didn’t do much. Friday got breakfast from this new bakery near us called ‘Sagato bakery’ and got 4 steak and cheese pies, 2 cream doughnuts, guava cake, pineapple pie and a coconut bun. Then we drove to Park City to go to an Arachnid exhibit, had lots of tarantulas and some scorpions. And then in the evening went to leatherby’s for ice-cream and cheese fries.
Saturday Dad and I helped our neighbor paint his home, he bought here in the condo’s.
We had a nice time getting together with family today. Today was the day Mum died and so we had dinner at Scotts and then went to the cemetery and the kids had wrote a message to grandma tied it to a balloon and they all let their balloons go together. And Jaxon played his bagpipes he played ‘Amazing grace’ and did awesome but then he played ‘Scotland the Brave’ and kept on messing up! Lol. Hope you are doing well and are safe.
We love you Mum and Dad xxx

Hey Tyrell,
I had fall break this week. Didn’t have school Thursday and Friday. On Friday, we went to a spider exhibit. It was kind of cool. Today we went to Uncle Scott’s to eat and have fun for Grandma’s pass away day. It’s been exactly one year without Grandma. I played the bagpipes at the cemetery in front of the family. I missed up twice because my hands were cold and dry. Hope you are safe and having fun!

Hey Big Bro!
I stayed the weekend in St George. Me and Julie took a road trip down there and stayed with a friend who goes to SUU in Cedar City, and then we stayed with Julie’s sister who goes to Dixie. It was fun! Can you believe it’s been a year since Grandma’s passing. I betcha she is watching over you on your mission.
Stay safe and I love you! -Mina

Hello Tyrell,
Erana and I played and ate at Jenna’s on Tuesday. We had spaghetti. I gave Jenna a note to invite her to the witches breakfast and I also invited her to do the Book of Mormon challenge. I hope she joins! Mina and I went to the dentist on Wednesday and I did temple baptisms with the Young Women. Erana and I had Tausala practice and I’m getting way better at my tahitian solo. Everyone except Mina went to Sagato’s for breakfast and a spider exhibit on Friday. For dinner, we went to Leatherby’s and Erana and I shared an ice cream called Emily’s Raspberry Rhapsody. I think it’s my favorite so far. Yesterday, we played at the park and mom, Erana, and I went to the Halloween stores to look around. Since it’s been a year grandma has past, we went to Uncle Scott’s for dinner and dessert with family. We went to her grave and sent her notes on balloons. Jaxon played the bagpipes. Jonah and Maya are sleeping over. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hi Tyrelly Smelly,
It's almost Leila’s Birthday!! Went to the witches breakfast at Gardner village on Friday, they had a ‘Greatest Showman’ theme, and I participated in a circus act.  Then went to see ’Small foot’ at the movies’ I liked it. Then we went to my friend's home for a Halloween party.
Love Erana xoxo

Hello Tyrell,
Jonah and I played games on Monday, then went to the park. A dog took our tennis park so we started playing fetch with it. The owner wasn’t around and we didn’t know who the owner was, so we took him to our neighbor, Shauna Morley, so she can find the owner. We don’t know if she found the owner. I played at Jenna’s house on Tuesday and we played basketball. For Young Women, we went trick-or-treating for the food bank and we had hot cocoa and donuts in Sister Ishino’s backyard. Erana and I went to Tausala practice and picked up Jenna after Tausala. Jenna slept over. On Friday, Mina and I went to the ortho. Jenna, Erana, and I went to the Gardner Village witches breakfast and Erana and I got a new Ty Beanie Boo bat named Count. We played at the park after. Jenna got me a rainbow poop emoji pillow, black beanie, and a blue friendship necklace. After that, we dropped Jenna off while going to the movies. Erana and I watched a movie called Small Foot. Afterwards, mom, Erana, and I went to the store and I got a shirt and a pair of shoes. Then we ate at McDonald’s. Erana and I went to a Halloween party at the Ferguson’s. Friday was a busy day. Yesterday, Jenna and a friend I haven’t seen in 3 years, Mea, came over to say hi because Mea wanted to see me. After Erana and I finished our chores, we played at Jenna’s house with Mea. Then we went to a chili cook-off at a church. Today, we watched Dunkirk. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Wassuh Tyrell,
Nothing exciting happened this week. It was end of term so I tried to get my grades up. Hopefully they’re good when I go back to school tomorrow. I had a D+ in Chemistry but I retook a quiz so it should be going up. This week was just homework and school work. Hope you have a fun week. Love, Jaxon XOXO
