September - Mina's 20th, Dad's 48th Birthdays

Hi Mina,
Been a busy week, work busy because of the Hurricane that’s hitting the east coast a lot of flt delays and cancellations, due to Dorian! Then I took Jaxon to take his driving test and he passed, so now he has a full drivers licence but he can’t drive his friends, but he has been bringing Jess home from school, so yup he’s breaking the law. Leila had Tausala practice 3x this week with the advance group, she is so small compared to everyone else.  Erana had a break this week from tausala/tahitian.
Went to Pineview again it is so nice there, we just lay on the sand and get a tan and girls swim and we eat! lol The scenery and weather is wonderful. Leila had her BBall party friday night, she said it was boring because they just played video games! lol Kage and Dray slept  over.
Saturday Dad was very busy, reconstructing the garage I kinda helped. I also went and got your card from the macu and also the Kia needs to be fixed because it had to be jump started twice, once by Dad and then by some kind mexicans at Lowes.
Leila performed at the Polynesian Days at ThanksGiving Point with the advanced group she did awesome. Only Kage, Leila and I went we had some yummy Otai, curried lamb and fish n chips.
Sunday Uncle Jody, Josh, Jonah and Maya came over to do their fantasy football the rest of the fams did it online. We had yummy dessert, Aunty Heather and the boys came over also.
Uncle Scott has the shingles he is very sick and stayed home, he got an infection from his retainer that he bought online to make his teeth straight and it was cutting into his gums and got an infection and then he got the ‘shingles’. His face was swollen.
Exciting news from for Uncle Jared he’s meeting with some executive producers from CA and they might be offering him a job to be in movies and to also set up security for them as well. And they maybe getting him a house in Malibu and paying him .....One Million dollars a year!!! WHOAH!!! lol  Anyways they will be moving asap but Talia will stay with Uncle Scott to finish her semester? But will see this is a maybe not yet met with them yet! lol  hahaha

Life is still boring. I quit my job, right now i’m looking for another. Haven’t been on any dates yet since last one I told you about. School is going well, just taking English at school and math online. Spent the weekend up in Idaho with my best buddies and their wives haha. It was a lot of fun! We went paddleboarding, played Star Wars D&D, campfire at the sand dunes, and other fun stuff. I’ve been going to a few Real Estate events with Tyler and might be thinking about going into that. Hi Mina,
Today we had a yummy dinner and I had a nice time at church.  Uncle Jody, Josh, Jonah, and Maya are coming over because Uncle Jody and Josh are coming to do fantasy football but I think they mostly wanted dessert. Before we had dinner when we got back from church, Jaxon tried to imitate Mom but instead he sounded like Pops from regular show and then he started to do a weird laugh and he said that he sounded like the surfer fish dude from SpongeBob SquarePants XD.

Hello Mina,
Erana and I had a Tausala show at the same place downtown with the Hiona group two weeks ago. It was an hour long as well, but we finished 15 minutes early. Erana and I had piano lessons on Tuesday, and I went to Tausala Advanced Team practice that’s really close, only 7 minutes away by Top Golf. I went to Tausala Advanced Team practice again on Wednesday. I had Mcdonald’s at Walmart after Tausala Advanced Team practice on Thursday. Dad, Mom, Tyrell, Erana, and I went to the lake on Friday. We got ice cream at the same place again when we left. I got picked up by Aunty Heather straight after we got home to go to Kage and I’s basketball party. We ate at Smash Burgers and then played Super Smash Bros. and NBA 2K19 at our coach Will’s home. He has a wife and 2 dogs, a german shepherd and a border collie. His dogs are fat. Kage and Dray slept over at our house. Yesterday, Kage and Dray played and then left so Kage could have a shower and then came back, not Dray though. Kage came with Mom and I to my performance with the Advanced Team at Polynesian Days. We had fish’n’chips and Mom had curry stuff. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Not much happened this week. We have no school on Monday so that’s nice. I got my drivers license finally on Wednesday. School is alright lol. Mr. Labrum takes 40 minutes just to answer one question in our notes. That’s basically everything that happened this week, hope you have a week as interesting as mine lol.

Hi Mina,

Sorry this went out a day late. Last week I had Labor day off on Monday. I just worked on doing things in the garage shed then did more on Friday and Saturday. Been working on it for a couple weekends now. I cleaned things out and added pegboard walls and painted a little. It’s totally different. I wanted to make it a space to put my tools. It now has a gate to lock it up too. I added other shelves against the walls in front of where the cars park on each side of the garage. We had our first thunderstorm in quite a while. July and August was pretty hot and dry. It went right past our house as a few of thunder made me jump when I was working in the shed, it was so close and loud. Happy 20th birthday, man those years went by so fast. You’re still our little princess. We’re very proud of you. Keep up the good work, the people in NZ need the gospel.

Hello Mina,

Uncle Jody, Josh, Jonah, and Maya came for fantasy football. Aunty Heather, Kage, and Dray came later on. Kage, Jonah, Dray, and Maya slept over and it was fun. I had Tausala practice early at 10am on Monday for the show that was at 630pm at ThanksGiving Point again. After practice, the cousins and I played at Kage’s house. Jonah and Maya came to the show but didn’t get to see me because I was in the last number and they got picked up from Uncle Jody. I saw Lafiana and Leeaine (I don’t know how to spell his name). Mom got me rice with chicken, macaroni, pulled pork, and an otai. Erana and I had piano lessons on Tuesday. We did our class activities for Young Women on Wednesday, so for the Mia Maids, we made first aid kits. Erana and I had Tausala on Thursday, and we went to KFC after for the lake on Friday. We didn’t go to the lake on Friday because it was cloudy and sprinkley. Instead, Erana, Mom, and I went to Walmart to try and look for things for our Halloween costumes. Hello Mina,

We watched Star Wars: Episode ll - Attack of the Clones for our family movie on Sunday. Dad, Erana, and I played basketball and soccer at the park. Erana and I had piano lessons on Tuesday. We went to Uncle Jared’s birthday party on Wednesday and Ariki kept showing me all his stuff. YW was with the whole stake for the Trek reunion. We had cobbler and ice cream. Mom, Erana, and I went to the State Fair and I went on the giant slide. We had ice cream cones, strawberry lemonade, watermelon lemonade, turkey leg, and fried oreos. We watched the circus, watched a comedian magician, looked at animals, and watched a dog show. Erana and I had Tausala practice, and there’s a new girl in my advanced class who is pretty, skinny, LDS, graduated from BYU Hawaii, and 22! I’m following her on instagram and I didn’t see a ring or if she is dating anyone, so I’m going to try to set her up with Tyrell. We went to the lake on Friday and got ice cream at the ice cream place. Yesterday, Erana and I played at Kage’s house and Mom and Dad left to the airport for Orlando. Nothing much really happened this week. We went to Uncle Jared’s for his birthday on Wednesday. Then after that, me and Leila had to go to a trek reunited thingy thing for mutual. I slept over at Jess’s house with Ceedrek. It was pretty gnarly, I had a 367,000 scoville hot sauce again and I was dying. And when I pooped, my butthole was on fire. We watched Hot Rod for our family movie. Erana and I had piano lessons and we played at Kage’s house on Tuesday. For Young Women’s on Wednesday, we were combined with the Young Men in doing Food Bank stuff. Erana and I had Tausala on Thursday. Mom and Dad came home on Friday, and they got us socks. My socks are Chip & Dale. Mom also got Erana and I a teddy. Yesterday, Erana and I played at Kage’s house and then we went to the chili cookoff at the stake center with mom and dad. Hi Mina,

Our trip was a lot of fun and a lot of walking. I probably needed another down day between our walking days as our feet and legs we're tired by the end of each day except Discovery Cove day. We had changed our Discovery Cove day from Sunday to Tuesday because it looked like Sunday would rain a lot, which was good because Tuesday was the sunniest day of the week. So Sunday we didn’t do much, checked in early to our Hotel after eating brunch at a restaurant nearby named Bob Evans. We had a nap then went to Walmart and bought a few things like snacks. Monday was Disney Epcot, Tues was Discovery Cove, Wed was Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, Thurs was Disney Animal Kingdom, Fri was Sea World then flew home in the evening. Discovery Cove was probably our favorite, it was awesome snorkeling with the fishes and relaxing in the lazy river. We hope to take the family there one day. The other parks were great too but tiring and I got motion sickness on a few rides. We loved the settings they created for Harry Potter, Avatar and others. We took an Uber to most places. Ended up paying $165 worth of Uber trips (that includes the tips I gave). Probably still cheaper than renting a car and paying for parking. I’m glad the work is going well for you. I got a new calling as the executive secretary. I’m not super excited about it and there goes my Sunday mornings for the next few years but hopefully I can get used to it and trust in the Lord just like you have to do on your mission. Keep working hard, the gospel is true.

Hello Mina,

It was Erana’s primary program on Sunday and she did a good job. We watched a few videos from mom and dad’s vacation for our family movie. Erana and I had piano lessons on Tuesday. I got a new job to clean the Edger’s house once a week and I went over there on Wednesday. For YW, we prepared for general conference and then we played a memory matching game. Erana and I had Tausala on Thursday. Advanced class is learning a new dance. I played at Kage’s house on Friday, Erana came along later on. Yesterday, Mom, Aunty Heather, Erana and I went to Aunty Dolly’s granddaughter's bridal shower. We went out to dinner at Pie Pizzeria for Dad’s birthday family dinner. After we got home, Mom, Jaxon and I went to Walmart, Ross, and Harmon’s. I got dad some birthday presents while we were there. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hello Mina,
Jaxon, Erana, and I played at Kage’s house on Monday after we had free lunch. Erana and I had Tausala practice and, guess what, I got promoted to the Advanced Class!!! Which means more Tahitian and more practicing. Erana and I had piano lessons on Tuesday and we went to the pool with Dray. We played at his house for a little bit. Erana and I played at Kage’s house after going to free lunch on Wednesday. Kage and I went to basketball practice. I went with mom to drop Kage off to his ortho on Thursday. We were at Marshalls while we were waiting for Kage and mom got Jaxon, Erana, and I new bed stuff and new towels. We went to free lunch and then we played at Kage’s house. Erana and I went to Tahitian practice and I saw the kittens again. The black kitten had a bad eye and I really wanted to help them, but I couldn’t because mom always says “It’s not our problem”. We went straight to the ward pool party after practice. I ate a lot of food and played with Kage and Dray. There were a lot of beetle like bugs. We had to get out of the pool for 30 minutes because they saw lightning (like we didn’t see that coming). Erana and I slept over at Kage’s house. On Friday, we went to free lunch and then played at Kage’s for the whole day. Yesterday, Kage and I had a basketball game and I scored us a basket, which means 2 points. The team we went against was pretty tough but we still beat’em. Today, we had a picnic with Kage’s family and Talia at Grandma’s grave. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hi Mina,
It’s been hot here but I like it. We had the Ward party Thursday night at the Taylorsville pool. Jaxon brought his friends Jess and Cedrick. They slept over after. Tyrell doesn’t like his job so he is giving his 2 weeks notice. It’s too tiring. He says he has to run a lot so he can be done early or else it would take until 6pm each day to finish. Leila started basketball a few weeks ago. Saturday she played and made one basket. It’s a co-ed league. She’s the only girl on the team. We ate Sunday lunch at Grandma's grave with Uncle Scott’s family and Talia. We had a birthday cake for Talia. She is 16 on Wednesday. Not much else to say. Keep giving your best and you’ll see the fruits of your efforts.

Hi Mina, 

For Talia’s 16th Bday Aunty Heather and I took her to eat lunch at ‘Simply Sushi’ and got the all you can eat, it was yummy. Then we took Talia to the mall to shop for some clothes. Leila went to YW Camp till Friday. I’m staining the downstairs doors and it’s a pain, I messed up and had to strip them and start all over again. Our green emeralds aren’t doing good Dad thinks their gonna die I think we’ve spent over $500 for them, we are thinking about planting a tree in the middle of the yard! lol Had a busy weekend but ended up doing half of what I wanted to cause of my ‘lil friend lol anyways I feel bad for not going to Jordan Savas’s wedding reception & Cole Salmon’s homecoming  (Aunty Raihi’s grandsons). Girls performed at the ‘Tongan festival’ Saturday afternoon after Leila’s bball game. It was for Tausala and they did an awesome job, then we went to your Aunty Tania’s for bbq. I was bringing the girls plus Jaxon, Talia, Vintrick and Zion. Vintrick slept over the night before because the kids were in trouble from saying they were sleeping over at Zions but actually they were sleeping over at Talia’s which they did and then they tried doing it friday night but we found out!!! lol Anyways Uncle Brent painted the inside of their home gray and put new laminate in and got new couches and furniture - looks really nice. Dad’s wondering how they can afford it and says I need to find a full-time job that pays more, but I keep saying “I don’t need those worldly things”!! Hahaaa Well it’s late and it was good seeing and talking with you, you’ll have to wait to go to ‘Hobbiton’ till you get your new card. Keep up the good work we love you and are proud of you.

Hello Mina,

Erana and I had Tausala practice on Monday. I left for camp on Tuesday, but we hiked to a waterfall first, and then we drove to camp and it was at a place called Wallsburg LDS Girls Camp. When it was nighttime, Olivia Leonard and Camille Cloward stole everyone’s left shoe and hid them behind the Mia Maids tent, and then later in the day of Wednesday, they hung them in the trees. The food was delicious through the whole week. On the second day of camp (Wednesday), we went tubing on a river that was freezing cold, but really fun. The skies were overcast and it was sprinkling. Olivia and I had a shower together in our swimsuits, because there was only one shower and mostly everyone wanted a shower, so we thought that it would be quicker. I painted 2 rocks, one for me and for Kaitlyn because she made me one last year so I payed her back. We played Witness Protection Program at night. On Thursday, we woke up early because we were doing the challenge course at 9am. My favorite part of the challenge course was this huge balance thing that we all had to have it balanced long enough for us to sing row row row your boat 3 times in a row before any side of the board touches the ground. Later on at 3pm, we got to do the zipline. You had to climb up a wooden pole, reach from rope to rope, and then start the zipline from the tiny platform. I went on it a second time, and the staff at the top asked me what I was going to do, no hands? Eyes closed? Backwards? And I said, Oh, I’ll do all of those, so I jumped off backwards with my eyes closed without holding the rope I was hanging from. We did our skits in the evening and they were funny. My group was Heather, Meg, Lillian, Ember, and Camille. Our props that we received were a banana, sunscreen, and a broom. Our skit was about a family at the beach and I wasn’t so fond of the sand so I was trying to sweep it all away and Ember was on Meg’s back trying to put sunscreen on the sun and Lillian was trying to catch a fish (Heather) with the banana and Camille was the mother getting frustrated and asking us why we were doing this and that. After the skits, it turned into a talent show and Sarah Marcrum’s talent was my favorite. She acted like Jurassic Park’s velociraptors and she even did a raptor call. She said she did it when she was 13 when Jurassic Park came out. Friday, we played human foosball, gaga ball, and learned archery. We had to try and shoot our plate that was hanging on a string with hay bales behind them. I only hit mine once, but it was right in the middle. Meg had two plates and all the holes combined from both of them was 31. I went home early with the Ballard’s after lunch. Dad, Mom, Erana, and I ate at Rollz Vietnamese. Yesterday, Kage and I had a basketball game and we won. Erana and I had our show at the Tongan festival, we only did the Otea and solos. We went straight to Aunty Tania’s for a BBQ and to see Rhylinn’s gravestone. Taylor got a new dog named Duke and it’s a German Shepard/Husky mix. He’s just like Demon when Demon was a younger puppy and Demon is way come now. Talia slept over and came to church with us today. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

I went to the Tongan festival with Talia, Vintrick, and Zion on Thursday. Then on Friday we went to the mall. On Saturday we went to the Tongan festival again with Vintrick, Zion, and Talia and then straight after that we went to Aunty Tanias house for a BBQ. After that we dropped off Vintrick and Zion off. That’s basically everything fun I did this week so hope you have a fun week.

Hi Mina,

Last week of summer went swimming on Monday with Kage and Dray their parents are back at work. Monday night we had a kapahaka show downtown at Liberty Park for Living Traditions Concert Series. It went well there was a lot of us because of all the Moleni grandkids. Tyrell performed with us and his friends, Tyler his wife Nika, Chad and Rachel. Wednesday we had our annual condo bbq. Yummy ribs and food and Jaxon’s friend Vintrick ate with us too cause he stayed the night. Went swimming again on Thursday with the Dray it was our last swim day at Taylorsville pool, pretty sad. Friday went to Lagoon and Chad Tyrell’s friend came as well. Went on the ‘Rattle Snake Rapids’ got wet but it was refreshing. Went on Cannibal a couple of times. Then the kids did their own thing. Watched a show in the afternoon it was a ‘Greatest Showman’ theme but they sang all ‘Freddy Mercury’ songs, pretty cool. Went on the ‘Ferris Wheel’ for the first time, it was fun! Got a lot of cool photos. We ate dinner there hamburgers and fries. Saturday Dad and I stained doors got another tree from lowes, and dirt. Then I took Leila to her bball game she scored 7pts, a shot, a lay up and a three pointer. Then took the girls to their show, which was Leila being ‘Moana’ for her YW Auction. She performed 4 dances and taught how to do the hula, it was a success. We bought a portable speaker for it, it's fun! 

Sunday we got a new Stake Presidency, Pres. McKinnon, 1st councilor Steven Thackery and 2nd Zullo? Anyways then your Uncle Scott’s family came over for bbq, we ate way too much yummy food. Steak, Chicken, Hamburgers and hotdogs, watermelon etc. And then we finished watching Star Wars - Return of the Jedi!

Hello Mina,

Mom, Kage, Dray, Erana, and I went swimming and then we played at Kage’s for a little bit. Mom, Tyrell, Erana, and I had a show downtown with the Hiona group. It was right behind the tennis place that you did your tennis and bought that hoodie and by Tracy’s Aviary, the bird place dad took us too. Our performance was 1 hour long. Erana and I had piano practice on Tuesday and we played at Kage’s afterwards. Kage and I had basketball practice on Wednesday and Dray slept over. I forgot to tell you that we had the condo BBQ. We went to the pool on Thursday and got nachos for Dray, a pretzel with nacho cheese for me, and Dibs for Erana. Erana and I had Tahitian practice. I went to check on the kittens, but I didn’t see them at all! I hope they’re in good hands. Chad came with us to Lagoon on Friday. We had a lot of fun and we ate there too. We watched a show of these people who sang songs from Freddie Mercury and they acted like they were in a circus, with twins, a strong man, a man covered in tattoos, a lion tamer/whipper, and a flexible woman. Chad is so funny. Yesterday, Kage and I had our basketball game and I made a 3-pointer, lay-up, and a normal 2-point shot, so a total of 7 points. We won. After the game, Mom, Erana, and I went to the Luau performance and did great. I only made 2 mistakes in Sway it Hula Girl. We went to Stake Conference today. Kage’s family came over for dinner. We watched Star Wars : Return Of The Jedi and had roasted marshmallows on the deck. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hello egg,

On Tuesday I went with Vintrick to his friends soccer game. Then Vintrick slept over and we hang out on Wednesday. Later on Wednesday I went with Vintrick to his friends house to play night games. On Friday we went to Lagoon for the whole day. Then Mum dropped me off at my friend Thaydens house to sleepover. Jess and Vintrick were also there and we played video games. We were gonna go do something outside but it started raining and there was lightning. I stayed at Thaydens house for almost the whole day on Saturday but I went with Vintrick to his house so we can go to his friends house and have a fire and movie night. I forgot what the movie was called but Robin Williams was in it. School starts tomorrow and I’m not even ready for school lol. That’s all the fun things that happened this week so I wish you good luck on your mission.

Hi Mina,

Sorry the email went out late. After work each day last week I was digging up around my planted trees and putting better soil around them. I think the bad soil contributed to the trees dying. I have 6 left, and only 2 from last year. I have done all I can and know how so I’ll leave it in the Lord’s hands now. Mum stained the rest of the doors in the house. We went to Pineview Friday to relax in the sun. It was nice. We went to eat at the local bbq place but it had gone out of business, bummer. We watched Leila play her last b-ball game on Saturday. Her team was undefeated. It was a fast paced game and she was the only girl. She made one basket. So now you have another couple challenges, training and a new white-washed area. But I feel total peace that you are up to the challenge. I’m not worried a bit even though you may be. I know you rely on the Lord for all things and that’s just what you have to continue to do. I’m so very proud of the great work you do. Keep it up.

Hello Mina,

Erana and I had Tausala on Monday and it was my first practice in the Advanced Class. All we did was learn a new dance and then practice it. Erana and I played at the Ballard’s house after piano lessons on Tuesday. I had ortho on Wednesday and the man that checks what to do next for my teeth said that for my next appointment, I will be getting my braces off! I couldn’t help but tell Kage after basketball. My coach had a teammate and I do a one on one game, and I won. Erana and I had Tahitian practice on Thursday and mom got us Arctic Circle afterwards. We went to Kapa Haka too. Dad, Mom, Erana, and I went to Pineview Lake for the whole day and had ice cream from the shake place. Yesterday, Kage and I had our last basketball game and won. I made 2 points. We had pizza after. Erana and I played at Kage’s house. Today, I learned about the purpose of life. We watched Star Wars : Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. I hope you have a great week, stay safe! I LOVE YOU!!!
