FHE Testimonies

For Family Home Evening on the 1st Monday of the month we are doing a testimony meeting. We want our kids to get used to it in front of our family so they can do it in front of others. We all took turns starting with Candi, then me, then Tyrell, Mina, Jaxon and Leila. We told them they can give a testimony of the gospel, tell an experience of being kind, say what you're grateful for or express your love. Tyrell and Mina were giggling when they started because they're embarrassed or something. Jaxon was acting silly too. It's ok for their first time but that's what I want them to get over and be more confident. They gave good testimonies. Jaxon told a story of helping a girl who fell on the snowy sidewalk and asked if she was ok and picked up her backpack for her. I said very good, mean kids would laugh but you were kind. Leila didn't know what to say at all. She couldn't face us and was moving around. We had to tell her off and tell her what to say. She'll get better. I think it's good for them to hear our testimonies too more often and have a chance to feel the spirit.
