July

'Independence Day' we and the newlyweds went to the Ward Breakfast, down Bluemont Circle on some neighbors front lawn. This annual event was new to our in-laws but I think they liked it. We ate yummy bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, chocolate milk and juice. It was soooo good! We then went with just our baby girls to the Parade, we found a spot under a tree which was awesome and it was to the side of the 7'11 our usual spot.  It was really hot, so it was nice having shade. The parade wasn't as good as earlier years but I suppose it's due to the Covid19 break.  Later that day we went and ate at Scott's house and had a dip in their spool. We watched the 'Pets' fireworks while sitting in the spool. I refused to buy any fireworks this year cause it was ridiculously over priced.

We went to Pineview one Friday and then to Antelope Island another Friday, with Leila and Erana. Antelope Island still had a lot of big orb weaver spiders around the visitors center but not as many as the last time we were there. We stopped at the burger place on one of the beach places and had a buffalo burger. Was not bad. Maddie had a baby shower we went to as well on the 9th. The garden has been producing tomatoes, squash and zucchinis. Our first real garden attempt.

July 23rd Baby Girls has a 'Tausala Party' at our Stake Center. They played games and ate yummy food. The older girls planned it, so that everyone can get to know the new girls and also bond with each other more.  Later that day we also went to the 'Barlow's Summer Party', they had yummy food too, music and dancing. They also had a big blow up water slide for the kids, but our kids are too big for that now lol. The newly weds came. We enjoyed being with each other and seeing Uncle Jono and Aunty Louisa.

July 28th-30th Leila had 'Ward Youth Conference', they didn't go or stay any where. She just left each morning and came home at night. Leila was in charge of game night in the back yard of the Masina's.  She had a couple of boys that didn't want to play her games and she was a bit sad about that, I told her psshh just say too bad I'm in charge of games next time will get you to do it, and go home and wash your bum!lol

On the 31st we left to go to St George and stay with Christine for a week.

Some reenactments of Leila from August 2009.
